WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR VISIT TO ALC

 

Our worship services are:

 

Sunday – 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM

 

Wednesday – 7:00 PM

 

 

 

           

Our Prayer Areas are available for prayer during Office Hours and before each Worship Service.

 

 

How should I dress?

Come as you are.  Come casual or dress up.  People wear anything from jeans to dresses and sport coats.

 

Do you provide assistance for the deaf and hard of hearing?

Of course, if you are planning to attend an ALC Worship Service and need assistance, we have qualified ASL (American Sign Language) Staff to ensure that you enjoy your visit to ALC. We offer interpreted services for the deaf and hard of hearing on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.  Interpreters are also available for Sunday School and Bible Study upon request.

 

  Please visit the Information Center when you arrive and our staff will direct you.

 

Can I remain anonymous?

We understand that you may want to just “check things out!”  However, you are welcome to attend a Guest Reception immediately following the Worship Service in the Connection Area.  The Pastoral Staff are always there and love to meet our guests.  We serve light snacks and have a free gift we give everyone who joins us. 

 

What happens during the Worship Service?

While services vary from week to week, each includes heart-felt worship, announcements, special music, a relevant message, offering, and an opportunity for prayer.  If you have special needs, we offer an opportunity for you to receive prayer during the service.

 

What about my kids?

ALC has a wonderful program for our kids, called LIFEKIDS. 
While you are enjoying the worship service, your kids will be
having more fun than you’re supposed to at “church”.
